Graduation
So the third time i successfully graduate...yet I never managed to make it up on stage...sometimes for reasons outside of my control, others not.

High School - Because I went to a Catholic school i HAD to take Religion every year, but the Ontario Gov't didnt recognize OAC Religion as a credit course and that spot fit perfectly into a 2nd Co-op...result? I wasn't allowed to graduate on stage...didnt really care much.

College - Didn't really feel like an accomplishment. It was only a 2-year program and I dropped out of my original program (TV)

University - This one actually meant something. It was mostly tough and required alot of balancing of time. I even completed some courses while in India. This time I can't because the ceremony is right when we have a pre-planned trip. Convenient.

I guess in the end it doesn't matter, there's already a spot waiting for my paper on the wall in the office and ive already updated my resume as a graduate, but to NEVER go through the Graduation process feels like i've been cheaped out. I also feel like I let my parents down because my mom said she wanted to go to a graduation since all my other siblings didn't complete their education or simply graduated throgh another means...

Have you already applied for graduation? I was under the impression that you yourself had to register for the ceremony...maybe you could just apply to graduate in the fall instead of this spring? it could be the solution so your mom is happy and you get to sit for hours beside total strangers in a robe with a piece of ribbon around your shoulders that keeps sliding off... :D

Yeah Roger you should look into this. I'm going to my engineering ring ceremony in April even though "my class" had it back in novemeber.
